Here’s the stunt: record a little doggerel poem to tape, and then record the tape to acetate. The tape recorder is an old Wollensak, and the disc recorder (and I don’t mean ‘hard disc’) is Wilcox-Gay. COPY the acetate disc to plastic in a two step process, using Oomoo to make a mold and then Task 4 to make the copy. Record the playback to video tape. Edit in some titles and some stills from the plastic copy making process.

The political doggerel is a bit out of date by now! We’re one president down the road from this, and, of course, Rove is doing his usual ‘just fine, thank you very much.’
